Maria Elena Giannaccini has a level in Biomedical Engineering from the Università di Pisa in Italy. She carried out her Grasp’s thesis at Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna as a part of the EU-funded OCTOPUS undertaking. In 2015, she obtained her PhD in Robotics on the Bristol Robotics, the place she focussed on growing protected, variable stiffness robotic gadgets.
