Code.org and Amazon launch new curriculum to show AI abilities to youngsters in grades 8-12


Code.org and Amazon have introduced the launch of a brand new curriculum for grades 8-12 to show AI coding abilities to youngsters.

Code.org is a studying platform for pc science that’s utilized in many colleges, and it has been partnering with Amazon on varied instructional initiatives for a decade.

Based on Code.org, this new program, Exploring Generative AI, will educate how AI works, create with it, and the moral implications of an AI-driven world. 

Particularly, college students will be taught the interior construction of generative AI fashions by learning their enter, storage, course of, and output. They’ll find out how fashions characterize language, the impression of coaching knowledge on mannequin efficiency, and the potential for bias.
